I parked behind this gem the other day at Publix, and just had to share. I have no idea what the hell it is, or why it exists. Perhaps someone could shed some light on this unit for me? What the hell is it?
I wish I had taken a few more photos, just the driver seat had been switched out to a purple Recaro-style racing seat.

Why the Chrysler badge then, that's what sticking in my craw the most about the car, cause I don't remember Chrysler making such a car. And aside from that, why, out of all the badges out there, would you pick Chryslers?

It worked, it took me a few days to even calm down enough about it to post it.

This is one of those moments where I can't fathom the idea of why people spend "Extra" money to mod a shit car.
they could have just saved a bit more and got a better car

Yeah, if it's your DD, it really is an awful way to go about improving the car you drive. Save you money, get something better if it's your only car. I can't even deal with this.

My thoughts exactly!
It's a sad day when your Aspire wants to be a Chrysler! (OK, maybe not...) And the body kit.
But, the explanation is on the license plate, right? Florida!

Easiest badge for them to steal from the junkyard/neighbor/dealer

I think I know...In Mexico, they have certain Hyundais rebadged as Chrysers for some damn reason. I see them on this side of the border from time to time. That may be the case....or it could just be someone who just enjoys trolling the world.

But that's a Chevy/Geo Metro (or its Pontiac sister). There's no actual reason for it to have a Chrysler badge!
Maybe the owner really loves Chryslers and wishes it was a PT Cruiser?

Maybe his plan is to work his way up from badging a Geo as chrysler to badging a 300 as a Bentley.

exactly!

Found it! they call it the Dodge Attitude. Sure looks like an Accent to me.

Looks like an Accent? Aw nah, that IS an Accent! The humanity!
Man, US manufacturers get pretty freaky with international models...

I think it probably has to do with import taxes in Mexico. Import the Hyundai to the US, then ship it to a factory within the borders trade zones (maquiladora) rebadge those bad boys as Dodges and suddenly, Poof! It fits the definition of NAFTA trade rules within Mexico and no more import taxes! (I might be wrong about that, but if I am, it isn't by much.)

Sounds like a solid answer. Oh lord, it's so awful!
They didn't even bother removing the Hyundai badges on the new models!
